The little wandering // la pequeña andariega

Today I present a photographic series made a few days ago to a caterpillar of white tufted moth ***Leucostigma Orgyia*** (its name is long and allusive to the result of its metamorphosis) which I found climbing in a tree near my home.

<sup>El día de hoy presento una serie fotografica realizada  hace unos dias a una oruga de polilla mechón blanco  ***Leucostigma Orgyia***  (su nombre es largo y alusivo al resultado de su metamorfosis) a la que encontré trepando en un árbol cerca de mi hogar.</sup>

As on previous occasions I prepared to take a few how many captures, so because of its shape and color I found it very interesting and curious and surpresing she was quite fast and she was running around there, resulting in something complicated to capture.

<sup>Como en anteriores ocasiones me dispuse a tomarle algunas cuántas capturas, ya qué su forma y color me pareció muy interesante y curiosa y ella resultó bastante rápida, andaba corriendo por ahí y por allá, resultandome algo complicado de captar.</sup>

Try to find some information about this caterpillar and I was impressed by what search result was almost nil, there is not much information about it, only it turns out to be almost a plague because of its rapid proliferation and its voracious appetite, she eat from any leaf of trees , from perennials to deciduous ones.

<sup>Trate de buscar algo de información sobre esta oruga y me impresionó qué resultado de la búsqueda fue casi nulo, no hay mucha información sobre ella, sólo que resulta ser casi una plaga por su rápida proliferación y su voraz apetito, come de cualquier hoja de árboles, desde perennes hasta los de hoja caduca.</sup>

When I was interested in exploring the trunk where I was, I took some catches, with the clear sky behind, I tried to capture her little feet and her natural fur.

<sup>Al andar ella interesada en explorar el tronco donde se encontraba, yo le tome algunas capturas, con el cielo despejado detrás, intenté captar sus pequeños pies y su pelaje natural.</sup>

I decided to apply the technique in selective color to further highlight the beauty of the incredible insect, I loved the horns that are formed in the front just above its huge eyes, halfway through the body, other very curious bumps are formed and at the end of the body one more, and all this only with its fur, giving an appearance to almost a toothbrush.

<sup>Decidí aplicar la técnica en color selectivo para resaltar aún más la belleza del increíble insecto, me encantaron los cuernos que se le forman en la parte delantera justo por encima de sus enormes ojos, a medio cuerpo se forman otras protuberancias bastantes curiosas y al final del cuerpo una más, y todo esto únicamente con su pelaje.</sup>

I really liked the result, taking it mostly in profile with the sky behind having equally backlight and applying this edition gave a quite satisfactory result since we can observe in all its splendor to our little wandering caterpilar.

<sup>Realmente me gustó el resultado, tomarla en su mayoría de perfil con el cielo detrás teniendo igualmente luz de fondo y aplicando esta edición dio un resultado bastante satisfactorio ya que podemos observar en todo su esplendor a nuestra pequeña andariega.</sup>
