I'm not intimate with the workings of US government system. (nor do I ever wish to be. I'd only feel very dirty if I was). After seeing the results, and commentary and opinion from various mainstream media, it seems to me that what we have hear is a failure to see reality.. (Alt media _is_ the mainstream media nowadays, isn't it? Does anybody care what the corpse-orate media have to say..?)   ....But from my understanding about things how The Senate and The Supreme Court operate, then reality is much more like this....  (obviously much less happy and totally nuts, but you get the idea.) ### IF Trump is doing what he says, and doing as the people who voted for him, want - then the only thing that has really changed, _is the extra power he now has in the The Senate_. Oh dear..... Going on that assumption, and that the draining of the swamp is the number one - the _only_ priority.... ### ...then Trump has just found himself in a much stronger position, than before the midterm elections.... ...Or am I missing something...?

What is this "reality" that you are speaking of? The reality is that if we had a blue wave or a red tsunami, if we lost the 50/50ish split, than half of america would become unrepresented. And when you don't (feel you) have a voice, you do desperate things. Anyway, the constitution is for We the People. Not all of us "americans", it is for We.
