When I was a kid one of the common knowledge which are being taught are that USA was consider the world police, as they are having so many military base around the world, and also their role in ending the world war II is so great to make them deserve being called the World Police.
But things might already changed, just like how now USA are seen as a superhero which has a double personalities, promoting peace but sometimes are using force to the other sovereign countries they deem necessary.
We are also know how big and powerful are the defenses mechanism the USA have how advance are their military equipment. All the best and up to date equipment seems to be started or being researched in the US.

But when other nation are also building powerful and up to date defense mechanism and putting more money toward its military, they are seen as a threat to the USA. If we really want to have a peaceful world those military competition should not be a thing. Because there are destruction in every ends of a war.
Two Nation that are being dubbed as a threat to the US are China and Russia. China has been able to perform hyper-sonic missile and also their military equipment has grown so much over the decade thanks to the economic boom the country has. Are they really a threat or it is just because they have a different ideological values?
And the other one is Russia, which has always been a rival since the ends of the World War II, Russia hold a lot of nuclear weapon almost the same as how much the USA. But really why would its a threat if other has it, but its for peace when USA has it? or it might only be a war and competitions that happens only in media?
