Italian President Wimps Out and Succumbs to the Bankers.

In this report I cover the early market action from London on Monday, May 28th, 2018. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar and the bond markets. I note that with a bank holiday in the U.K. and Memorial Day in the U.S. the markets are quieter than usual but the futures and continental Europe are still trading.

I also look closely at the current political crisis in Italy and how the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarelli, has denied the newly formed Italian coalition government to choose its own anti-EU finance minister Paolo Savoni. I look closely at the Italian and EU sovereign debt situation and note that the bankers in Europe are on the hook for trillions of euros in loans to countries like Italy, Spain and Portugal.

My conclusion is that the bankers, through control of the money supply and interest rates, are holding the Italian people to ransom and that the Italian President has basically succumbed to financial pressure form the bankers as last Friday they sent a clear message that if Italy formed a government composed of Paolo Savoni as finance minister all hell would break loose and Italian government bonds would be dumped in the market.
