The livestream interview with bitFlyer COO Bartek Ringwelski was scheduled for Thursday, however I just got a last minute email saying he is flying back to Japan, making the interview time 2 am for him.

I’m working with his people to set a new time so keep an eye on the YouTube channel for when the livestream event re-appears with the new date and time.

For now though I have set the event to be private.

3:33 Story - A couple of EOS updates today

The first one is that KuCoin are the latest exchange to make an official announcement that they will support the EOS mainnet token swap.

That means if you buy the current IOU EOS token that is based on Ethereum, when the main EOS network launches, any EOS tokens you have on KuCoin will be swapped for the real ones.

CoinEx, the exchange where everything trades against Bitcoin Cash will also be helping EOS holders complete their mainnet token swap.

I treat those token announcements as one item.

The real big news is that there is an official version 2 of the EOS technical whitepaper available on github:

It is a technical whitepaper so may go over your head if you’re not that way inclined, however it’s worth reading anyway because while some parts may be incomprehensible, I think overall you’ll be left understanding the whole concept much better.


4:43 Story - Now for an ICO that caught my attention

This is in response to you asking me to look at more ICOs that are not the result of sponsorship.

Dorado are basically creating an Uber for package delivery using robots on the ground and drones in the air.

Other than the ridiculously cheesy promo video on the home page which you can tell was the work of executives, the market potential for their service is pretty huge.

Right now they are 62% sold out and have raised about $20m so far.

So you can imagine this right. You order a product, the AI works out the location of the closest stock and then has their drone pick it up and fly it to you.

We could be looking at same day, or even better, same hour delivery. When you can get supplies that fast, that’s a significant disruption to the economy because it enables more aggressive business models.

They say here that delivery on demand is a $215b industry.

We’re not just talking packages here, we’re talking pizzas and any other small item.

For me personally I’m thinking about when there’s a birthday card or gift that I need to get to someone and the mail service is too slow. Maybe I could get a point to point delivery using a drone. That would be super cool.

And on an investor level Dorado offer quarterly commissions since 7% of net sales go to Dorado owners.
