Keep Your Brain In Check.

Don't take it for granted the brain is a terrible thing to waste. It's one of the most important and complex organs in a human body. From body movements to making decisions. We are nothing without our brains.

## Keep it in check

The brain consists for almost 60 procent out of fat. Of course it's a certain kind of [fat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ky6SNhUfOI). It's super important to keep it in a healthy balance. Fats have influence on your mood, concentration, memory and the brains ability to progress information. If you don't keep your fat-intake in balance. It can lea to psychical problems. Or even brain damage.

If you not take care of yourself/brains. It can result in:

* Feeling tired often
* Memory loss
* Concentration problems.
* Nervous behaviour
* Depression
* Aggressive or anxious behaviour
* Slow response.

### If you ask me the brain is like a holy machine. It can make or break you. So how can we take care of our brain. It speaks for itself. This is no rocket science. Here we go:

* Eat fish on a regular basis. Fish contain certain (good) fats which the brain need drastically. (omega-3)

* Avoid products that have been processed industrially. These products are often high in saturated fats, the bad fat

* The proper oils are: olive oil, linseed oil or rapeseed oil. They are very rich in omega-3.

## Antioxidants

It is important to eat food that is rich in antioxidants. To give a few examples: onions, grapefruit, kidney beans, red peppers, kiwi, cherries, red grapes, oranges, avocados, beets, broccoli, plums, sprouts, raspberries, spinach, strawberries, kale, garlic, blackberries, blueberries, raisins.

## Vitamine B

Eggs and chicken seems to be very rich in vitamin b thus very good for your brains. According to a Alzheimer experiment, two years of eating proper vitamins b leads to decrease of brain shrinking.

## Vitamine C

> " Broccoli is great source of vitamin K, which is known to enhance cognitive function and improve brainpower. Researchers have reported that because broccoli is high in compounds called glucosinolates, it can slow the breakdown of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, which we need for the central nervous system to perform properly and to keep our brains and our memories sharp. Low levels of acetylcholine are associated with Alzheimer's."

## Stress

As always avoid stress, stress is so underestimated. Try meditation or working out.

In general taking living healthy is good enough to take care of your brains just like keeping your dopamine in check a lot of things speaks for it self. This was just a short post. There are more foods good for your health. My motto if your grandfather didn't eat it. Then its probably not good for your health.
