Many things happen in life which sometimes push us to think something bad of which we are not suppose to do so. In such troubles or pains, we should always get someone beside us who will comfort us, as Christ Jesus taught us to be comforters of our neighbours. My story of pains, troubles and suffering that I have ever gone through, I was a final Senior High Student when my Daddy and Mum had an accident on their journey to visit their relatives and died at the spot. In fact, I was helpless, since they were my last hope, they were my everything. This situation pushed me nearly to kill myself, I nearly stopped schooling at time with few weeks to write my final papers. God being so good, I met my immediate comforter, my best friend, who was always on my side encouraging and strengthening me to be strong and withstand for everything that had come on my way. He even took me home after we wrote the final papers and completed the funeral rites of my parents. He indeed comforted me till everything was resolved, and I know because of Jesus Christ who has been our master comforted granted that Spirit of comfort to effect that comfort for me.

***"Apostle Paul through his teachings to the Corinthians, revealed that God the Father and our Jesus Christ are compassionate and comforters, who always comfort us in all our troubles, so that we can also comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves received from God."(2 Corinthians 1:3-4)***

Many people are emotionally stressful in this life, they are our Brothers and Sisters, they are our family members, they are our friends, they are closer to us in our communities. We are the immediate people who can comfort them with the Spirit of comfort that our Lord God has granted us. Let us do them a favour and comfort them with our love, encouragement, money, shelter. Let us draw them closer to ourselves. They can release the pains, the trouble and the suffering if they see our face. If a person is in trouble and he or she gets to know that you are always there for him or her, he or she gets relieved from that trouble or pain, that is why Jesus Christ has has place us to be comforters for those people.
