<center>The largest greenhouse in the world, with an area of twenty-two thousand square meters, was built in the UK, in Cornwall. In fact, "Eden Project" is a huge Botanical garden, located under huge geodesic domes, gathered under its roof a large number of different kinds of plants from all over the globe.

Natural complex of interconnected domes, which are in turn made of hexagonal inflated plastic cells supported by a sturdy metal frame, forming two huge rooms. The first dome recreates the Mediterranean habitat, and the second greenhouse collects numerous flora tropics and Equatorial forests.

The developer of the project was Tim Smith, who is currently the Executive Director of the largest greenhouse in the world. With his grandiose idea to embody the heavenly grounds, he came to Nicholas Grimshaw, a famous architect, who had worked at the time to create a national space center in Leicester and designed the London Waterloo station.

Eden Project was designed for three years, from 1995 to 1998. Construction took another two and a half years. The complex was commissioned in March 2001. It was built in the vicinity of the city of St. Blaise, in an old quarry, where previously mined kaolinite, and its construction cost 75 million pounds.

This unique structure is maintained only at the expense of internal resources, plants are watered with rain water accumulating in tanks, and electricity comes from solar panels and wind turbines used here.

The network of paths of the greenhouse is quite long and diverse. All paths meet at the mountain small river located generally a dome and artificially created lake. Their imitation is so plausible that you can inadvertently feel yourself in this jungle.
