Mark, appreciate your message here. I think that Steemit.com is going to remain in maintenance mode, meaning that the developers are not going to be working on enhancing it in any way, but instead work on sustaining the current state and focusing on the development of the blockchain itself. Other dApps on Steem are more advanced such as dtube, partiko, steemhunt, steempeak, and steemmonsters. The blockchain is evolving more and more as time goes on and @dstors is working on moving Steem from proof of brain to proof of business which allows actual companies to generate revenue with their projects and not rely only on delegation. Again, Steemit.com is not a neccessary dApp anymore as it was 2 years ago. We appreciate what it has provided to the community but now the community is taking matters into it's own hands with better, more user-friendly dApps that allow for easy on-boarding.

Ohhhh everyone already has a CHristmas tree! not fair at all, we build it first on 23rd :/ Im not sure if it was you yesterday where I commented that I can't hear but I don't hear again :D I think you should go much closer to the camera. And Yepp I believe steemit will survive :)
