I Wish There Was Some More Snow

The Christmas days see very mild temperatures here in Munich and the forecast for the next days is a so called 'inversion' once again, making higher altitudes in the Alps warmer than the 'lowlands'. This will bring grey foggy weather in Munich and melt the thin blanket of snow in the mountains. But there is hope for the new year looking at the GFS weather model forecast. Until then, here are some impressions from last year.
