Jeezus… when are people going to learn to just STFU? Businesses are cutting ties with Papa John's because the founder said the N-word DURING SENSITIVITY TRAINING CLASS!!! That sounds like a SNL skit in itself. This article points to the Marlins suspending a business relationship: with others to follow. Papa John's along with dominoes was one of the hottest stocks 2 years ago. 

Do people not see what happens to other people before them?

Sadly all of these were located in the SF Bay Area... where it is incredibly diverse and hard to imagine there is pure racism involved. Its hard to argue the case if they would have done the same to a child or person of another race. But why is it that they had to go out of their way to make a statement in the first place? Any one of them could have just walked by and not have said anything and not wound up a social media villain.

So were all of these people always racist and its just now being caught on video? Is it similar to the #metoo movement where society is just washing out the bad behavior that has always been? Making example of a few and to clearly state times are changing. Or is it that people are angry and losing their shit and getting caught on camera? Angry on the left and angry on the right? This is the greatest divide I have ever seen in my lifetime that I cared about politics anyway. Housing/Rent is expensive here: in the SF bay area. Houses on average cost 1.2 million dollars and people are paying 200k more than asking price. To rent a closet its near 1000/mo. Maybe its one of the biggest factors to why we see a lot of these videos popping out of this area. People are pissed off.

I was walking across the street the other day. Had just bought groceries and texting my fiancé. Stepped onto the curb and someone rolled down the window and yelled at the top of their lungs "get off your fucking phone!"

I was at my car so I got in and drove around the corner... this person drove a beatup old car that was rusted gold in color. EASY to spot. He pulled over around the block. So I pulled up behind him and got out. Im pretty sure he knew exactly who I was but pretended he didn't. I simply said: Im here now... what did you want to say to me? He said "what?" I said well you yelled at me a minute ago and I didn't get a chance to hear you. He said your not looking where you are going? I asked how that effected his life. He was fat and had his arm in a cast... by the looks of things not very good with money. He immediately took his phone out and said I was harassing him... yelling to make a scene. I turned around and walked away. Its easy to see that if I didn't have control of my emotions it could have gotten out of hand.  I wasn't angry - I just like confrontation but it wasn't worth being the next viral video over.

The next day... I was driving through an intersection and was stopped due to construction and told to hold by workers. I had my bumper maybe a foot into the crosswalk. Some woman walked easily past the car - because she had the other 7 feet of space to do so - decided to throw her arms up in the air and call me an asshole with my grandparents as passengers. Its scary when its the little things are now making people boil over. She also told me to tell my wife that she picked a real winner and she is so lucky to have me. I made sure to text her those exact words as soon as I got to my destination.
