Thank you Melinda!! I'm glad they were safe too. The speed limit is pretty low on this road but the deer can jump out pretty quick. Sometimes we can see them up in the woods when we are driving along too. 🦌

The speed limit on our road is 15mph and a few years ago someone hit and killed one of the fawns. They were probably watching the mom and didn't even see the little one. It can happen so fast.

Awe..that is so sad and I'm sure the person that hit the baby probably felt terrible too. My daughter almost ran over a fawn in a big mower and cried for the longest time over "almost" running it over. She was helping someone in the family and the grass was so high that she didn't see it. Luckily she didn't hit the baby but she sure felt bad about coming too close to.
