Well my friends, I would say our first little meeting went great, with the big exception of the recording of said meeting not working out as planned. As it so happens, the voices of everyone come out perfect, nice and neat, but it did not record my own microphone. Why you ask? Because of murphy's law, and I think I figured it out so next time it should work perfectly.

<h1>We talked about the Mission</h1>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The idea behind this community is to grow together, to help every single member who partakes of the community to see the value of another human being on this platform. The focus is not on the bots, on the return on investment, on none of the noise that seems to clutter Steem's ecosystem. The witnesses who are part of the project @ausbitbank and @gmuxx are people who believe in this message strongly. 

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Helpie is not, and will never become free service. The idea behind its mechanics is to create jobs for the helpienauts that belong to it, to train and support them in creative ways, and to teach it's members in a fun/imaginative way about Steem and it's ecosystem. The upvotes and financial support that @helpie provides for its members is a payment for their contribution, and this distinction is key.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As of right now, the tentative time and day will be Tuesdays 7pm East Coast, we will continue of course to make recordings (and next time won't fail) so that people who cannot be part of the hug pit, can still know what we discussed and what ideas were brought to the table. In the future this day/hour could change, but it's also close to impossible to find the <b>perfect schedule</b> since the helpienauts live all over the world.

<h1>Let's shill some posts!!!!</h1>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Who does not love a healthy dose of shilling? But in all seriousness I think this particular idea is going to be not only fun, but it's also going to help us become better readers, better listeners. In my opinion that is a good goal to have.

We discussed the mechanics of shilling posts and key points to make this work:

* The assigned shillmaster will be @bembelmaniac (he will keep track of the shillers)
* You cannot shill your own post, it has to belong to another helpienaut
* You must shill the post, you can't just say, this one... I liked it. That's a terrible shiller.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;After the shilling session is over, all participants of the shill mosh pit will be listed on a post written by @bembelmaniac for the @helpie account. The liquid SBD's generated from the Shillers post will be sent out to everyone who participated from the Shilling Mosh pit.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The goal is simple, you have to shill the post, make sure it's a post you love, a post that spoke to you so you can shill sincerely. I will let @bembelmaniac explain in his own blog how the ranking will go, the ninja points (no joke this is serious) for the best shillers and all the details to follow. I think this is not only going to be fun, this is going to help our community get that much stronger.

Can we start the shilling in our next meeting? I'm ready if you guys are... 

<h1>Possible Games on Helpie's Server</h1>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Eventually the idea would be to come up with clever ways we can have activities on helpie's discord server. One of the games we discussed was brought up by @ankapolo . A variation of a Geo Quiz, with a reward system, for some reason we had a photo show and tell session on the server, and it was not only fun, it started to trigger the traveling bard side of me to come out and play. Aside from having some fun, I think it can help us realize how beautiful this planet is, and what things await us, if we decide to travel just because.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I won't go into too much detail, and I will let @ankapolo workout her own post of how this would work, get everyone's input on it as well, and maybe we can do this next week instead of dice, or maybe both... Why not?

<h1>Curation Masters</h1>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Our beloved @llfarms was our first canary in a coal mine with this initiative, she has started to curate homesteaders and in my opinion, the first curation post was a success. We talked about the possibility of expanding such efforts and having a curation master for all different niches. I asked the attendees to design their job, meaning, let me know in a post how do you see yourself curating minnows around the blockchain. A curation master can be as creative as he/she wants, the whole point is to commit to the idea, we decide on a day and give it a go. 

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I said before that one of the core missions of @helpie is to create jobs for it's helpienauts. Well these job openings are one of those possibilities, the SBD's that the curation posts make, will be used to pay out the 5 people the curation master chose for the week, and the curation master will also be compensated for their work. It's a total win/win scenario.
