With the current covid-19 situation, the food industry has been affected; this means most hotels and restaurants have closed down.





 My friends and I used to have our favorite hotel where we would visit every Tuesday and Friday for dinner.





My friends and I were forced to stay at home because of the installed lockdown to protect us from the Corona Virus. 





Therefore, for almost five months, we were forced to stay at home. Social Movement was restricted; hence most of the time, we had to eat from home.




After the covid-19 measures were eased, some of the hotels resumed their operations. Fortunately, one of our favorite restaurants opened. 




As a result, my friends and I visited the place for a quick meal. After all that time under lockdown, we needed to go out and treat ourselves to our favorite meals.




I ordered Sirloin steak; this is my favorite dish. After finishing up, we ordered a bottle of wine to supplement our meal.




 After our dinner, we took a walk around the town to find a perfect spot for ice cream and milkshake.




We came across several ice cream vendors, so we chose an ice cream spot near the pack where we could eat and stroll around to pass the time. 




It had been a while before I could just hang out with my friends, have a chat, and eat away from home. 



Unfortunately, we could not stay out till late at night because of the lockdown. On our way home, we passed by another restaurant and ordered take a take away and milkshakes.




Since the covid-19 restrictions are lessened, I will definitely take my time and eat out more often. It is a good feeling to get to explore different foods from different restaurants. 




Also, eating out comes in handy whenever I don’t feel like cooking at home. Most importantly, it saves me the task of doing dishes anytime I cook.
