The way the modern church is set up, we are keeping people, everything is geared toward keeping people. 
* Keep theme tithing
* Keep them coming
* Keep them busy

We spend our time preparing a meal, organizing prayer meetings and bible studies, but is this really what we are called to? 

Is this the example of our Example? The EXAMPLE ABOVE ALL OTHER EXAMPLES-JESUS CHRIST

### The Modern Church Owes Millions on a Building

Gotta keep them coming and giving!
Cant preach holiness, repentance, picking up our cross, denying self and being strangers here, no of this world.
Our largest contributor might not come any more. And worse than that, might not give.

*I have a friend in China that with 1 million dollars would probably have 1 million converts and have planted 1000 meeting places for discipling the converts. Beyond that, thousands would be fed and the naked would be clothed*

Even in America, we have people living beneath almost every bridge, sleeping on sewers to keep warm. 

Do you think on Judgment Day we will fare well when our works are judged. Are we visiting those in jail, feeding Jesus as He is hungry, clothing Jesus as He is naked? Or are we spending $1,000,000,000 US on just a sound system? 

We act like the Bible says, Jesus said, “You all built nice buildings, had great AC, super plush carpet and a million dollar sound system, Well done thou good and faithful servant, you have been serving yourself, enter into the joy of the Lord” NBVB (New Bologna Version of the Bible).

Mat 25:34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

He also has something to say to them who didn’t care for these.

### The Judgment Seat of Christ

Many think as a Christian we don’t have to be judged. But is this Biblical?

If you are truly born again and washed by the blood of Jesus, yes you will have a free pass at the Great White Throne Of Judgment. 

Two books are opened. If your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, you have a free pass. Everyone that that passed this judgment still has to face Jesus and His blazing eyes at the Judgment Seat of Christ (The Bema Seat). This is where our works are judged!

I believe from the scriptures that God will judge the 5-Fold Ministry by how many people we matured to become like Jesus. Those we matured to become ministers themselves. We taught them to pray, we didn’t make them pray. We taught them to give, but didn’t make them give. We taught them to GO and share their faith with others, not invite their friend so they could hear the pastor tell them about salvation in Christ. We taught them how to hear God’s voice and study for themselves. We taught them and fed them, but to mature them and grow them so one day we could Commission them and send them our of the house to win a lost and dying world.

This is the example of Jesus and this is the biblical way. And you and I are stewards of everything God has entrusted us with. We will stand before Him and tell Him why we wasted His resource on building a 3 1/2 acre house for a televangelist instead of feeding the hungry. 

One day every one of those buildings will burn up with a fervent heat. One day we will see people in heaven because we did the right thing. And there are those we won’t see because we didn’t. 

Our motives will be judged. Our laziness will be judged. Our use of our talents will be judged. Our use of our time will be judged. 

 Eph 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:


1Co 3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.


Rom 14:10  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.


2Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2Pe 2:13  And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

Rev 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Rev 22:13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

This reward Jesus brings is not good news to the wicked.

We have an eternity to work towards now while we still live. Let’s begin to do the good and quit building the kingdom of some slick talker. Let’s build God’s Kingdom and have an abundant entrance into the kingdom.

2Pe 1:10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
2Pe 1:11  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:12  Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
