I hate selfies.  Really, like DESPISE selfies.  I don't look like the person I see in the mirror.  I either look like I have three necks because I am looking down at the camera, or I look incredibly awkward trying to get a good straight angle shot.  So believe me when I tell you, sharing this selfie was a tough call.

But I need opinions, and my wife and kid aren't helping.

To grow, or not to grow, that is the question.

I've often thought about trying to grow a goatee to see if I like it.  I would often go four of five days without shaving just to see how it went.  Ultimately, every time, it started itching too badly, and I chopped that stuff off.

So now I am about two weeks in to working on a goatee, I bought some Cremo beard and scruff cream in an effort to combat the itch some, it's not working.  And I'm in that phase where it doesn't look like I just forgot to shave, but it also doesn't look like a full grown out finished product.  It looks like this:

As I type this my Predators are playing the Pittsburgh Penguins, so of course I have to rep my yellow (We call it gold in Nashville).  

So what do you think?  Is the itch worth the final product?  Do I keep it going, or do I chop this fuzz off?  

For those of you who have facial hair, at what point does the weird itchy feeling subside and it just becomes part of your face that you don't even think about?  

I do feel like if I cut it off now, I will never try again, so I need to make damn sure I am sure of my decision.
