And that, based on the fact that they are not yet Christians, apparently they have not been able to find it yet. This creates the intention that God is hiding from those who are seeking Him.

The word of God shows us a very different picture, it is not God who hides. In the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve sin, disobeying God's command. I ask: - Who was it that hid? God or Man, what the Scriptures say: "... and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God" (Genesis 3: 8b). Rather, God went in search of them: "But Jehovah God called the man, and said to him: Where are you?" (Genesis 3: 9). The Word of God leaves us the most clear teaching that God is in search of man: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10).

God is not running away from us, he is not hiding as a fugitive. We are the fugitives that day by day we are hiding from their presence. We are the ones who voluntarily refuse to go to him. The Holy Word says about this: "The ungodly flee without anyone pursuing him ..." (Proverbs 28: 1a). This shows the natural inclination of the sinful man, that is to say, to always seek to hide from God.
