Think correctly

The Bible is our greatest inspiration to guide us in our walk and she obviously instructs us about how our thoughts should be. We read in the book of Colossians 3: 2 the advice that the apostle Paul writes about our attitudes.

2 Set your mind on the things above, not on those of the earth.

This advice leads us to understand and in turn think that although we live here on earth and we are biologically adapted to this earthly system our attitude of thought and action must be based on the things of the kingdom that are those of heaven and that is where it should be our heart.
In the same way we can read the wise advice of the psalmist about what we really should lend our ears
Read:

17 Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise,
    And apply your heart to my wisdom. (Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960).

Obviously, the wise words are those of men who live according to the word of God and are written in the Bible which we must treasure in our hearts.
God yearns for his children to think correctly and to achieve this we must be joined to the vine that is Jesus Christ because out of him we can do.
The book of Philippians teaches us more clearly how our thoughts should be. Read.

8 For the rest, brothers, everything that is true, everything that is honest, everything that is fair, everything that is pure, everything that is kind, everything that is of good name; if there is any virtue, if anything worthy of praise, think about this.

This is really the wisest advice we find about our attitude towards our thoughts.
When Christ lives in our hearts, we are light and we practice praiseworthy things because the wonders of God live in good thoughts.
About this we can read in the book of Job the following advice:
