The coolest thing about Zalipie, Poland isn’t that the whole towns houses are covered in these beautifully painted flowers, it’s that the town is constantly engaged in a progressive competition for the best painted flower-house contest. 

*There is a saying in Polish: “Nie dla wszystkich skrzypce grają” which translates as “The violin doesn’t play for everybody” - it certainly does for everyone in this town.*

**I myself visited the town last month on a tour to Eastern Europe and it's certainly a town of Polish humbleness and beauty. A town that reflects Poland's own inner beauty itself.**
