<sub>Service to your country is one of the biggest sacrifice one can offer to his or her country. We might see it or view it as some bulls hit or crap, because of the nature of our countries or it's economic statue but it does not matter.</sub>

<sub>What matters the most, is that you have contributed to the service of humanity and your country as a whole. Here's my First Day experience I had at Ogun National Youth Service Camp, located here in Nigeria, Africa.</sub>

<sub>My first experience, in camp wasn't enjoyable  but I do believe that as time goes by, I will get used to it.  First and foremost I did arrive Ogun state, by 6.32pm, after 6 hours journey on the road. I left Uyo, Akwa Ibom State by 6.am and successful by God's grace I arrived at my destination.</sub>

<sub>I was welcomed, by soldiers at the camp gate, and my luggage where checked, to see if I had come with any hard drugs, like codeine or Tramadol but to there disappointment I was clean. Though, as long as Nigeria is concerned nothing goes for nothing, something must always happen that's off.</sub>

<sub>My luggage was checked and I was given my Hall and Room Number, off which I moved in. The guys there were lively and fun. All from different tribes and religions. I met guys from Yoruba, TiVo, Hausa, etc.</sub>
***
<sub>After, checking in to my hostel, I had to go and register at the registration unit, of which it was mandatory so as to be noticed as a Corp. It was really, really stressful because some of the officers weren't willing to help there colleagues with the registration.</sub>

<sub>And as a result, it took a lot of time to complete the registration of 2,250 Corp members called in to serve in Ogun State (Abeokuta).</sub>

<sub>The registration couldn't be completed on the first day which was 24th July, 2018. And it continued on the next day which was 25th July, 2018. Now, I totally hated what happened on the 25th of July, 2018. I and the rest of the Corp members were paraded outside to the camp ground as early as 5am.</sub>

<sub>Some Corp members weren't fully dressed up with their white kits and they were rushed, like sheep's to the slaughter house. The ladies were not excluded. What got me laughing my eyes out was a fat lady running, that her weight couldn't carry her.</sub>

<sub>And she fell on the ground. And one of the soldier there had to make fun of her calling her an **AGRIC FOWL**😂😂</sub>

<sub>Devotional prayers was conducted a d after that the Nigerian Anthem was sang, followed by the NYSC (National Youth Service Corp) Anthem was also sang, then the Ogun National anthem was song. The Ogun National Anthem really sounded odd, like as if it's an Incarnation 😁😁😁!</sub>

<sub>We here taught and told, what different whistle and trumpets meant, and the reason we must answer the calls or else we would be at the receiving end. Where, and were to meet for different platoons and platoon leaders. My platoons is amazing and it's motto goes my *HONESTY*</sub>

<sub>After, that was the morning drilling and exercise of which it was fun filled. After, that breakfast as served at various Platoons, of which your Meal Card, each Corp member must present before getting his or her meal.</sub>

<sub>I made new friends on the camp ground, like *Yemisi and Faith* pretty and beautiful damsels, but not as pretty as my girlfriend and my moonlight. You guys would get to meet her, when the time comes.</sub>

<sub>I also met some fellow Akwa ibom guys, in persons of Edidiong, Esiet, James. And I also made friends with some of the Muslims guys, that are fluent in Hausa in persons of Eddy and Mustapha. And I seized the opportunity to tell them about @steemIt and @steemjet and block-chain </sub>

<sub>The breakfast they served, gave me a running stomach and that I have decided not to eat any other there breakfast apart from the dinner they offer at night.</sub>

<sub>The food vendors are really preying on us, because we are corpers and it's really getting on my nerves. Adding prices to goods that's not worth the amount and believing that, they can succeed through extortion.</sub>

<sub>I was able to complete the second phase of the registration, but not totally, cause Corp members were still flooding in from different part of the country into Ogun state. The next and final stage of my registration would be competed by tomorrow which is the 26th of July, 2018</sub>

<sub>And on the 26th of July 2018, is the searing of Corp members in to the National Youths Service Scheme to serve the country and oath taking. These would be another story for another day.</sub>
