A Possible Solution To The Global Homeless Problem

2005 was the last year an attempt was made to categorize statistically the amount of homless people on the planet... that was 12 years ago an an estimated 100 Million people were considered "homeless". An estimated 1.6 million were considered to lack adequate housing. I cringe to think of what the true numbers are... in my mind housing is a basic necessity NOT a priveledge.

Since I joined Steemit I must say that I've put on my "thinking cap" a bit more often than I used to. I've come across great videos and articles by others. Now more than ever I've come to the conclusion that there are solutions to the worlds greatest problems...

It starts with the government of the people to come up with a plan and implement it, circumventing the old ways and their own governments.  In other words use cryptocurrencies to fund this.
There are much more affordable alternatives and I wanted to share some ideas and hope the Steemit community can help expand them with their thoughts and comments.

So I see a possible solution of providing work for some of the homeless people,  as well as an education and housing through this type of system. Is it just me or does it not seem like a logical solution?

Ok so maybe I'm wishful thinking but there are alot of tent cities not only in the U.S.A but around the world. These pictures say it all...

Seattle Washington (there have been several tent cities in Seatle where the city council has ordered them removed.)

The sad thing is the government always knocks the homeless housing down here in the states at least.
We'll go out with lumber, or concrete, or even bricks, erect a small shelter under a bridge out where nobody can see, and then the fuckers from the city bring bulldozers and destroy it all.

They do the same thing up there in portland too. Bastards.

I hear you.... that's why I believe somehow cryptocurrencies like Steem can circumvent the government...cut through the B.S. redtape...purchase land and get some housing built. I know the solution is there and the bulldozers can be put to better use.

Honestly I don't think anything we do will convince the authorities to let it be.
I participated in building a little housing project on private land a year or two ago I believe now, and we built/repaired enough space for a few dozen people to sleep there and hang out, etc, and the police simply begun harassing people coming and going and then eventually cleared everybody out and said it was a hazard and a nuisance, despite nobody else being in that area and the street being unpopulated.
There were no fires, no smoking indoors, no illegal drugs, nothing. 
Maybe it's just an American thing though as I never hear about it being this bad in European countries. They can usually even manage a squat reasonably.

There are two huge problems with housing and why not everyone has one.

Property taxes and death taxes.
Property taxes are pure evil.  They are a perpetual rent that you have to pay for the luxury of sleeping in a nice place.

And death taxes.  We don't want the children to inherit anything real... like a house, so we must make them sell it.  And thus put more in the mortgage pool.

Remember, if you are not upper class nobility, you are not allowed to own any assets.  Its called Real Estate because its the kings estate.

And the 3D print house is expensive for its size.  Its shape is not conducive to people furniture.  You can do a lot better with rammed earth adobe.
