This medicinal plant, especially the red vein kratom variety, is frequently used to treat severe pain caused by traumatic increase such as broken bones or torn muscles. It has a milky latex sap, which is scraped or squeezed from the leaves and stalks, that contains pain-relieving properties. It numbs the whole body, relieving muscle and joint inflammation, aches, and pain. The sap can be ingested orally, mixing it with juice or making it into a tea. Fantastic write-up - I will look out for these. I'm not sure if they grow in Scotland, where I live. Many chemical pain-relievers are based on plants, though I suppose they may sometimes have other additives which are toxic. And some plants can also have side-effects, so I would advise reading up on them before consuming them. Funnily enough, I was thinking about this subject yesterday, and I will be posting on it myself soon. I had terrible toothache following dental work, and the ibuprofen I took simply did not work... luckily I found a much healthier remedy!

OTC anti inflammatory drugs are big pharmas dirty little soldiers. They do a great job of destroying the gut biome & creating more systemic inflammation, which really helps weaken the immune system & gives Big pharma a lot more paths to profit off illness. The true genius of their plans is how successfully they have marketed otcs via entertainment & media programming. Also helps that all the big pharma trained drs have been pushing them on people & telling them theyβre safe for many many decades. This is actually the first time I have heard this about pain relievers but it makes perfect sense! I always tell people that *"doctors only know what they have been taught"* and since the college text books are written by the pharmaceutical companies they have a very one sided view of things, the side that makes them money. So unfortunately many of these doctors are unknowingly making their patients sicker instead of better, which is obviously good for big pharma. It's sad what this world has come to..

Kratom is great as it also helps those who are addicted to prescription pain killers to get off of them. It helps with the pain as well as some withdrawal symptoms. Kratom does have a small list of side effects that aren't insignificant at higher doses. But overall we find it to be a excellent medicine for pain, but also concentration, energy, and relaxation. It can even be used as a weight loss medicine. Thanks for sharing this post, I will resteem! I live in the US where thingswith Kratom are pretty ridiculous. FDA now trying to stop shipments into the country and what not. There is a fight for Kratom that I'm sure you are also aware of, if you live in the US :) gots to keep natural medicine alive and keep the govt out of our medicines! I had heard kratom was good for withdrawal but I never met anyone who actually had tried it so I didn't want to put it in the article. I also live in the US so I totally get what you are saying. Ofcourse the medical industry is fighting Kratom, they don't like it when a all natural, cheap alternative becomes available so they do their best to have it put on a list which makes it illegal.. Its pretty easy for them considering they own politicians because of lobbying.
