The child is the younger generation of the nation's successors who ensure the continuity of the country's existence for a better future. The progress of a nation depends on the human resources within the nation. Children are the main asset of a nation to shape the nation through creative and competitive resources. Children as citizens and as human beings have the same rights and tend to be special from adult humans. In its growth, one of the rights of the child should not be exploited. Child exploitation is a violation of the nature and rights of the child and is very dangerous to the child psychology.

**What is exploitation?**
Exploitation is a politically arbitrary exploitation of any subject of exploitation for the sake of the economy solely without regard to the sense of propriety, justice and welfare compensation.
The case of exploitation is now very widespread in many parts of Indonesia, which is very sad to happen to minors, this is a big crime. Most cases of exploitation occur in children aged 6-8 years, which is a golden age for a human being where children perform their developmental tasks, play with friends, receive education, without feeling pressure and coercion.

But what happens in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. A mother is willing to force her 4 children to scrounge every day after school, targeting them to get at least Rp 100,000 per day. Even when the target is not achieved do not hesitate the mother scolded and beat and threatened to kill them and forbade them to go to school and work from the morning. This is a very cruel and inhumane and highly inappropriate behaviour because the culprit is their own mother.

Parents should comply children's rights, be responsible for their education, their lives, and their livelihood, instead of forcing children to work that will make them lose their childhood, neglect their education. This incident will be a problem in children, be it physically or psychology of the child, they will be depressed and intimidated.

**The impacts of child exploitation that can occur are:**

1- The child will be easy to lie and hard to believe in others.
2- Child behaviours tend to be harsh.
3- Children do not know love and affection so it is easy to violence.
4- Child's self-esteem becomes low.
5- Fear, and depression.
6- Have big problems when they are adult.
