Slavery in the Middle East? Thanks, Hilary!
# FINALLY!!! Someone in the mainstream news said it!

<center>http://static1.squarespace.com/static/577c22b1b3db2b681b972633/577c23c2ebbd1aa40eea66bc/580f7879197aeace22c79f72/1477605460484/butcher+of+benghazi.jpg?format=1000w</center>

Facetious and pitifully photo-shopped images aside, USA Today columnist Glenn Harlan Reynolds <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2017/11/27/clinton-ponders-2020-run-lets-not-forget-her-real-libya-scandal-glenn-reynolds-column/895853001/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzRss&utm_campaign=usatoday-newstopstories">wrote this Op-Ed piece</a> about how former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's actions in Libya created a vacuum which has been filled by chaos, anarchy, and extremism.

He correctly identifies that it was the Obama Administration, with Secy Clinton behind the wheel, who led a coalition of NATO forces to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi from power in 2011, which allowed the US to establish a diplomatic mission in Benghazi that acted as a cover for smuggling weapons into Syria; weapons which aided anti-Assad extremist rebel groups in the US's latest attempt to further destabilize the Middle East.

<i><b>"Hey, that guy supports terrorism! Let's get him out of power by supporting terrorism!"</b></i>

...Yeah, that didn't make sense to me either. But that has been the trending narrative in the region for decades; a US-led effort to weaken regimes unpopular among Western bureaucrats by fueling the environment necessary for extremism to prevail, then subsequently directing those efforts to remove the head of the regime, by infiltrating the rebel groups, training and supplying them, and furthering their organization's objectives to unify against whoever the US decides to be its enemy.

But regardless of the motives, history will show that this kind of behavior has a lingering effect that is all too devastating.

Al Qaeda was organized out of the void created by a fallen Afghanistan. ISIS was organized out of the void created by a fallen Iraq... Those two instances seem to lead the majority of examples, as many different lateral and down line offshoots have filled the vacuums created over time.

Now, the lack of solid leadership in Libya since Gaddafi's execution, combined with the power given to rebels who took him out on behalf of Western governments, has led to the rise of all forms of disgusting and inhumane behaviors, which spurred a mass exodus of refugees, avoiding death or slavery, to Europe (an increasingly HUGE problem in Africa and the Middle East).

Since 2011, you've witnessed the same thing in Syria... And who's behind the rebels who have utterly dismantled Syria and turned most of it's northern and eastern sections into a war-torn s**thole?

http://www.federalflags.com/Shared/Images/Product/Heavy-Duty-Polyester-American-Flag/Polyester-American-flag-closeup-angle.jpg

Think about it; why would anyone in their clear and rational mind assume that whatever US military branches and intelligence agencies are is doing in the Middle East is actually working, when extremism is on the rise, terror is spreading (exemplified by the recent attack in Sinai), and the stability of several Arab nations continues to decline so that they don't even have the resources and personnel needed to assuredly combat terrorism?

And consider this... We might hear on occasion from some suave politician that terrorism is being wiped out and the nations involved in the war on terror are winning, but why does the result we see everyday on our TV screens sing to a completely different tune? It just doesn't make any sense! ... Unless, of course, you view the world through the correct set of lenses.

This might sound like a fairly harsh attack of culture on our States-bound readers, but don't worry Americans, you'll be happy to know that this writing attempts to say the opposite. First of all, the government you pay taxes to does not stand alone in their reckless and belligerent foreign policy. As examples; NATO, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Russia (well, formerly the USSR) have also contributed to creating the mess in the world today... Second, had Americans elected Hillary Clinton a year ago, they would have put into office one of the most prolific criminals against the Arab world ever witnessed this side of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

In other words, Americans can take some kind of pride in knowing that their electorate may not be as completely stupid as the media wants you to believe. Good job!

So, Mr. Reynolds, thank you for stepping up and speaking the truth! More courageous people in positions like you need to start spreading more facts, and ditch the lies!
