# Much Fear I Sense In Disney
I kinda knew this was going to happen, and I've been dreading the final trailer for some time now, as well as the last Star Wars Skywalker film which is set for release early December. The lasted trailer for Rise of Skywalker was released yesterday, and I really don't know what to say, the more I see the direction JJ has decided to go the more I really don't want to watch it. Unfortunately like a drug addict I'm going to go watch it anyway, and I predict that it will be like slowly watching your childhood dreams being engulfed by fire. I have written quite a lot about Star Wars, because it was always something magical, an heroic story that just got more in depth over time and with the addition of episode one, two and three, which I loved, there I said it. The reason it was just amazing was because of the story, which all came from the mind of George Lucas. The biggest mistake Disney made was to think they could produce something original, and episode seven, eight and nine is the result of the biggest story disaster in the history of screwing up an really beautiful thing.
To be fair, episode 7 wasn't all that bad, it only became bad when the news recently was made public by Disney CEO, that they expressly bought the outlines that Lucas had written for the last three episodes, but the decided to flush it down the toilet. Then along came Rian Johnson and just said screw everything and did it his way, completely disregarding everything that is Star Wars and being true to the characters, because he somehow didn't understand anything about it. Due to the film being such a colossal balls up they got J.J. Abrams back to do the last film and even have to call up George Lucas to try salvage what was left. I can only imagine what that must feel like to see your legacy destroyed by company who didn't care about it, and then to be asked while under contract to fix what they could have avoided by just sticking to your story.

The news currently revolving around Rise of Skywalker is that Disney has been doing some major re-shoots, which is never a good thing for any film. Then to add insult to injury, J.J. Abrams has a history of completely botching endings, do you guys remember the series Lost, probably one of the most watched TV series until the it have one of the worst ending in television history. The same happened with Star Trek which J.J. directed, it was okay for someone who isn't a fan, but apparently the true fans weren't very happy. Other very concerning news is that either Disney or J.J. has change the ending of the film while they were half way through shooting, another massive red flag. I also think it's one of those cases where they just want to get this done and over with, now the trick is to try keep everyone just happy enough. Which is going to be almost impossible to do, because I'm already not happy, and there's very little they can do to fix that.
