► The author recommends that everyone read **START-UP NATION**. The link to the PDF book is above.  It is a fascinating book. It has Harvard business school quality case studies, pithy quotes, very interesting ideas. The best idea is the idea of irreverence & challenging & not accepting authority or convention. It also has a package in it´s recommendations. The fundamental input & research into this book is incomplete and therefore the recommendations that come out of it are faulty **AND COULD HAVE DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES.**

► The other book **SPYTRADE** is based on years of bothering the U.S. Trade representative, The International Trade Commission, the CIA, The DOD, the FBI to release all of the documents about what was occurring at the level of National Security & covert relations during the formation of America´s first bi-lateral free trade agreement. It takes the view that because of promises made for covert operations and cover-ups & the dis-enfranchisement of  U.S. Industries and Industry groups - that there is some **VERY BIG, VERY UNSUSTAINABLE problems that have guided subsequent trade polic**y - but in particular effect this particular relationship.
