Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great. It's again about the 100 DAY POETRY CHALLENGE (hosted by @d-pend). It's Day 47 today and below is my entry.

## A BRIEF ABOUT MY ENTRY<br/><br/>

Today, my entry titled **"Unrequited Love"** is a free verse poem expressing the pain of unrequited love. I hope you enjoy it.

<center>It was said to be 
The most beautiful thing 
Any man can witness.</center>

<center>It was said to be 
The pinnacle of happiness 
And a basement of joy.</center>

<center>But why does your sight
And melodious tone of your voice
Triggers sadness in me</center>

<center>But why does loving you
And caring for you with all my heart
Throws me in a pit of sorrow</center>

<center>Were the elders lying
Or the stories are just mere fable
For the irony, is what I witnessed</center>

<center>Could the movies be fabricated
Or are they just what they should be
Because this love hurts</center>

<center>Could it be that 
I'm stuck in the nemesis
Of unrequited love</center>
