Climate change has affected many plants and animals, some to a greater extent. looking at Domestic animals, some of them have been affected in such away that there is a need to adjust their habitat so they can adapt to the challenges that come with the changes in the climate. Some of the challenges stem from high level of environmental pollution and temperatures. Notably, the release of greenhouse gases  have caused global warming and other changes in the climate .This is affecting the living organisms on the earth including  domestic animals. Climate Change has affected the  reproductive ability of animals as well at their health. Famers who depend only of livestock farming or animal husbandry  suffer the effects of climate change more as the quality of their animals  drops  and well as the quantity when care is not taken. As a result of climate change ,some species of animals have experienced a drop in their offsprings and some are yet to adapt to the changing in climate. Others have simply adapted .For example,the ducks. Ducks enjoy spending most of their time in water swimming but  as places are getting dryer  and warmer ,they are learning to cope without a swim .They are adapting to the new climate and  can  mate to get more of their kind.

Some species of fowls experience challenges staying indoors or in the sun as the heat melts out the fats in them . Most farmers for fear of losing their domestic animals allow them to stay around the compound especially  after crop harvesting. Some are trained  to understand the environment so as not to be too distructive.

The Rabbit is a typical  domestic animal that  adapts faster to changes.It can be trained to understand how to run to shelter in harsh sunshine as well as in torrential rain.   Above all else, more trees should  be planted and pollution should be reduced to prevent the climatic change and offer a better future to the  generations of domestic animals ,plants and man.
