Free Write Sunday prompt Paralyzed

This is my post for #freewrite Sunday prompt Paralyzed by @mariannewest

When I woke up Saturday my right wrist was swollen and paralyzed, it is the hand I hold my rod with. While fishing it has been bothering me so I have been sitting with my right foot up on my left knee and resting my rod on it so I did not have to hold on to it until a fish bit. Saturday morning it hurt so bad that I could not hold a cup of coffee with that hand. Today it is stiff and only hurts when I bend it. I did not fish today so it got a rest and I can not fish tomorrow, I have errands to run. So it will get a little rest and maybe won't hurt by Tuesday.

Yesterday I set traps back to the south, I put 8 traps running east to west south of fireworks island and another line of 8 further south. On each line, I caught bait in the 4 east traps and nothing in the rest. I still had 17 traps north so I picked them up for 3 bait and took them south, I have little clusters of traps between all the islands. I left them an hour and when I ran them I got 190 of the best size bait that I have had all season, the bait I have been catching has been big and these are small only less than 5 big ones. I am so happy.

We have some new creature in the river, I have been seeing this stuff on my traps and I think it is some kind of eggs, it really sticks to the traps, I cleaned them yesterday and this was on one of them today so it did all this last night. I took my knife and scraped off what I could then took a brush and got the rest off.

While my traps set I took a walk on an island and found this catfish skull, people say it resembles Jesus on the cross. It is not a very good one to show but it is what it is.

I took this picture of a tree that the hurricane knocked over, I would say it is paralyzed.

I saw this shell and could not help but wonder how the world has changed since it was someones home.

@mariannewest thank you after not fishing for a few days it feels a lot better. I was wondering if adding the pictures was allowed in the free writes, glad you like them and it is ok.

I hope your wrist gets better soon @myjob. 
The catfish skull does have a resemblance to Jesus on the cross.
Nice photos. The tree seems to be in distress. I like the shell too.
