Whaleshares.io - MET Token Distribution

The MET token stands for "Morte Et Tributa". Almost sounds like a chaucer poem. Rough translation "death and taxes. They come for us all. No matter who or when we are. They somehow surface. The MET token is the Whaleshares.io version of the early Whaleshares token that existed on Steemit.

In a very similar fashion it helps in the curation of posts and hopes to makes quality post receive sufficient rewards. What's unique about this token is it doesn't just plan to do this on Whaleshares. It means to act as a cross-chain token amongst platforms like Steemit and Smoke.io.

There are many reasons I like this token. However, I think the most significant reason is it helps for better distribution. Good distribution is important to the success of such platforms. The constant flow of money allows for what in economics is termed velocity of money. How we move value from one place to another to one opportunity to another changes our world. Imagine money moving to the next greatest scientist or medical doctor or humanitarian. The next explorer who discovers something that makes our lives better and rich. These things won't occur. These things don't occur without proper distribution of resources in many cases.
