A day outside...

I haven't posted for the last few days because I have been away to visit my son.  One of the things that we did on Thanksgiving was take a walk.  Yes, it was cold...but it was lots of fun!  The nice thing about taking a walk on the beach in that kind of weather is that you have the whole beach all to yourself!  Needless to say, there was plenty of rock hunting that took place!  We were really lucky because they were not all frozen together. The following day gave us some warmer temperatures and more walking/hunting time.  Rock, boulder, and Wednesday Walk posts to follow!

We had a great time!  My daughter was not able to come with us this time...that would have made it even more perfect.  We thought our beach walks were done for the year so this one was really fun!  And I found the coolest agate!  Photos to follow!

We had our first snowfall this past week and then rain today so I too need to get some hunting done.  It's especially better when it's cold because only the most dedicated hounds come out to play, and it's not that many!
