This film was immediately introduced with the main character in the film named Agu. Agu, played by **Abraham Attah**. It appears that he is watching his friend play ball. They spend a lot of time playing, then their friends and bring a broken TV that looks like it doesn't have a machine or the screen turns out they are trying to sell the broken TV to the police.

The police refused and did not buy. They immediately tried to offer it to a Nigerian soldier keeping the peace. Finally the soldier bought him for 2,000 plus how much food it was, it was revealed that Agu was in Neutral area without war conflict, but many refugees had come to this area.


Agu comes from a small family, is happy and obedient, has a mother and father who are teachers. he also has an older brother and two younger sisters who have the Agu family.


So this is where the chaos begins where  live Agu.

Rebels will take over their land. In meetings with the community and government leaders there they decided to defend their ancestral land. while women and children will leave this area for safety. They all the next day, especially women and children Panic left this city. Quite a few things happen here, a full transport car finally leaves with the mother and her younger sisters. Finally, Agu had to be left with her father and brother.


Their fear began to occur, hundreds of rebels came to this city. My father, brother, and other residents hid in a food warehouse. Suddenly the Government Army found them. Not helping them, the government soldiers even considered them as spies. AGu's father tried to explain that they were not rebels. well .. the army then asked the crazy woman, are they citizens here ?? , the mad woman said that they were rebels. [So] Dad was executed on the spot and Agu managed to escap himself with his brother.

Destiny changed everything at that time, when they both ran and kept running, and as a result his brother was shot dead by the soldiers. Agu then continued his escape. Finally, Agu was captured by a rebel gang. Initially, Agu was about to be finished off by them, because he was suspected of being a government spy, but the commander who saw Agu's hand was like a baby, so he asked why he was here??


The commander then decided to recruit him, and indoctrinate Agu's mind so that he can hold a grudge against the death of his father and brother. Several members including Agu taught to fight. The name of their organization is NDf which is fighting for the government's injustice towards them. they fight for their highest commander, Dada Goodblood, played by **Idris Elba**.

The commander then decided to leave the post and head for the battlefield. and set fire to their own base to remove traces.


Agu is already dressed as a soldier. on the bridge they were doing an ambush mission, when a group of government army cars arrived and this is what happened. After the ambush left one prisoner, the commander ordered Agu to finish him off with a machete, the innocent Agu for the first time had to kill people in a sadistic manner. There Agu began to feel that he had committed a grave sin, but all by force.


Agu who was originally an innocent boy, had turned into a boy who dared to kill.

When they were resting in the forest the air raid came and rained down on them, thus reducing their numbers, as a result they moved without direction or purpose. Even eating crickets to prop their hungry stomachs. They were chaotic and chased by enemy troops.

They ended up living in a location by making defensive trenches, and mining for gold that they could not find any results. they are helpless, food and water die every day. they decide to leave here and leave the commander, but the commander forbids them and threatens to kill them, but they threaten to kill the commander back. in the end they left their commander alone. on their way they were intercepted by UN troops and they surrendered.

Agu was taken to a rehabilitation center for children who were victims of war, but partly did not feel at home there, because his colleague had very high fighting instincts. In contrast to Agu who wants to live in this place, because he received an education. But according to his colleagues money was everything, and some of them decided to run away. At the end of the story, he continues to learn to return to being a child in general and wants to get rid of the violent spirit of war.
