To many Game Clients !

So langsam verliere ich den Überblick wo ich welches Spiel besitze ! Momentan habe ich 8 Clients installiert und könnte noch 4 weitere clients installieren .
Ich glaube mein nächstes Projekt wird ein Python Script sein das eine Datenbank durchsucht und mir anzeigt ,ob ich das Spiel schon besitze und wenn ja auf welchem Client .

Kann nicht discord mittlerweile recht viele ersetzten? Ich hab nicht so viele und kann das schwer beurteilen, aber ich weiß, dass Discord aufjedenfall eine FUnktion dafür anbietet

Ja, aber Discord hat auch eine "Bibliothek" bei der möglichst alle auf dem PC installierten Spiele angezeigt werden. Ich hab das nicht auf Vollständigkeit geprüft, aber bei mir werden epic games spiele und steam games in der discord bibliothek angezeigt. Ich glaube origin games auch. Von daher brauche ich selbst keine clients mehr um Spiele zu öffnen, sondern kann discord benutzen. Spiele aber auch nicht viel am PC, aber eigentlich ist das genau das was du suchst. Du solltest mal prüfen wie vollständig sie bei dir ist.

Wie gesagt, der Discord Store und die Discord Bibliothek sind zwei unterschiedliche Funktionen. Store zeigt über discord gekaufte games an, bibliothek alle auf dem pc installierten.

Find ich auch immer etwas nervig. Hab aber eigentlich die meisten bei Steam, von daher lässt sich das noch ganz gut überblicken. :)

Das Script möchte ich aber gerne sehen wenn es fertig ist. Habe vor kurzem auch angefangen, mich etwas mit Python zu beschäftigen. :)

Jo, das ist eins der absolut beschissensten "Seuchen" die man sich als PC Spieler aussetzen muss. Konnte mich so lange vor Steam und den anderen Mist drücken, aber als es angefangen hat, dass man in Retail Games in Läden nur noch Codes für Steam zu bekommen war ich dazu auch genötigt. Glaube bei mir hat es angefangen mit Skyrim. 

Das wird irgendwann mal lustig, wenn paar dieser Dienste down gehen und man seine Spiele in die Virtuelle Tonne treten kann.

Hat man ja schon mal mit gemacht bei dem Microsoft Dienst Games for Windows Life.

Das mit dem "Was passiert wenn die pleite gehen?" hat mich auch lange von Steam ferngehalten. Andere Dienste nutze ich nicht aber ich spiele auch nur in begrenzten Genres und da bin ich mit einem Game meist lange beschäftigt.

Das ist der Grund warum sehr gerne bei GoG meine Spiele kaufe ..die sind drm free und ich kann sie mir irgendwohin speichern und später trotzdem spielen . Ich brauche nur eine große Platte :)

Ich kotz auch ab, das ich so viele Game Clients nutzen muss, sei es uPlay Steam oder EpicLouncher, ich hab noch mehr aber es darf auch nicht alles bei einem sein. EA-Origin zog damals z.B. Battlefield Bad Company 2 aus Steam zu Origin, ob das so rechtens war glaub ich nicht.
