Come on in friend, the water's warm.  You look like a genuinely good man with much to share, I would be eager to hear stories of your life as well as see your photography.  Just keep your expectations on the low side for the amount of money you will earn off your post especially in the first few months, think of it like Facebook where you get zero $$$ return, and then any rewards you do receive will seem wonderful.  And you have an amazing grandson @netuoso is one of the best on Steemit in my opinion, and I am sure he will help be your guide.  Also you can always come to me for any help I may be able to offer. I just found this so am resteeming it a little late. But what great grandparents to have! One elder I know has fitted a secret drawer into a room in his house to stash his gold and thrive on our rso - listen well to the elders :)

Your grandfather sounds like a very smart and interesting man who would have a lot to offer here on Steemit.  There are lots of older steemers and this is a wonderful platform for the generations to come together and learn from each other.  I hope he joins--it's not necessarily much money, but it is a lot of fun and a great community of people.
