We do not need Steemit to stay in business.  The changes made by the community over the last two years have made it more sustainable. Steem can live without Steemit as was proven during the same period.

I agree! It was Steemit that I saw going out of business, not Steem. It was also Steemit that was the biggest drag on Steem's resources. The Steemit platform was rapidly failing due to its lack of new members, and of course, lack of revenue. This move to Tron will no doubt result in some major changes to Steemit, but it was necessary in order to keep the forum alive.
