Dit is een Nederlands bitcoin bedrijf met hoofdkantoor in Amsterdam. Ze bestaan al sinds 2016 maar ik heb er zelf nog maar voor het eerst over gehoord in 2018. Het handelsplatform is zeer professioneel, mijn eerste indruk was dan ook zeer goed. De opties zijn ook relatief liquide dus het verhandelt wel nog makkelijk. Bij kleinere exchanges kan dit soms een probleem zijn.</p>

<p>De bitcoin opties die Deribit aanbied zijn Europese-stijl opties. Als ze in the money zijn worden ze automatisch uitgeoefend. De minimum order size is 0.1 bitcoin.&Acirc;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Bij Deribit kan je portfolio margin krijgen waardoor je ook opties kan schrijven of traden met margin. Dat laatste kan ik afraden aangezien bitcoin op zich zelf al volatiel genoeg is, laat staan opties op bitcoin. Maar dat moet je dan vooral zelf weten.</p>
<p>De beveiliging ziet er goed uit. Je kan two factor authentication gebruiken om je account extra te beveiligen. (wat eigenlijk bijna verplicht zou moeten zijn)&Acirc;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Deribit beschikt blijkbaar over een "verzekeringsfonds" waar je aanspraak op kan maken als je failliet gaat. Opmerkelijk, ik heb zoiets nog nooit eerder gezien.&Acirc;&nbsp;</p>
