 Frank Stoner berichtet über Oak Island - eine kleine Insel vor der kanadischen Ostküste sorgt seit hunderten Jahren für Rätselraten. Die ersten europäischen Entdecker waren bereits davon überzeugt, ein Schatz wäre dort vergraben. Anzeichen gab es genug. Also fing man an zu graben. Doch dies erwies sich als schwieriger als gedacht. Obwohl man alle 3 Meter fündig wurde, war bald Schluss, denn das Loch lief immer wieder mit Wasser zu.

Untersuchungen zeigten, dass sich hierbei allerdings um einen künstlich angelegten Flutungs-Mechanismus handeln könnte, welche den potentiellen Schatzfinder am Erreichen seiner Beute hindern soll. Sogar Todesopfer hat das "Million Dollar Hole" bereits gefordert.
