From what I saw we were indeed about a 1000 behind _INS_. That one mysteriously quadruppled their votes in the last 12 hours...

In their Telegram group they bragged about it. How they kicked ass of 900K+ Steem members, who did not have a clue how _INS_ did manage this. With the addition that it did not matter how it was done, but that _INS_ won... 

Yet, the final results will be announced before the first of november. And _Verge_ got a correction downwards as it seemed there were thousands of votes with different email addresses yet comming from the same IP address. 

If somebody owns an email server, or several, or has a hosting account that can create an unlimited amount of different email addresses, than the original sender will have the same IP address. 

Hard to spoof this and hide the original sender IP address. Botnets could do probably manage this. But hiring those kind of illegal 'services' is probably way too expensive. Also any serious startup, like _INS_, would not want to be associated with the use of _Botnet_ 'services'. 

So, there might be some kind of foul play involved, but my guess is that it will be quite easy to spot for _Netcoins_. And apply a proper correction...

Therefore my guess is that _Steem_ will still be the number one. And those who laugh last, laugh te best. 😉
