Biggest Snowstorm of the Year to Hit Saturday

100 Km/h winds and Snowfall, with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected. Snow will begin Saturday morning and is expected to be heavy at times. 15 cm of snow will fall before the snow tapers Saturday evening.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Wind warning in effect for:

Sault Ste. Marie – St. Joseph Island
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Northwesterly winds will develop late Saturday afternoon with gusts reaching 100 km/h. The winds will slowly weaken through Saturday evening.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.

so glad I am not there anymore (idk how is Alberta? - on my weather map it's cold there and snow also for Sunday). Here in Vienna, Austria it is finally a bit milder, but Spring is late this year.
I don't envy you guys - ski season is OVER!

Uggh I didn't even know that was happening. I'm in Chicago and on the radar we are on the bottom of it and it goes all the way up to Green Bay.  It must be going to head Northeast and pick up steam on the way... Stay warm and cozy! Gotta be the last of the year.
