It is a very basic requirement that entrepreneurs are highly accommodating individuals, but there are people who would want to take that calmness for granted and misuse the opportunities given to them, so as accommodating as you are as an entrepreneur, you also need to be firm in your decisions and make your stand very clear.

I have a very calm personality and because I love to accommodate people a lot, I realized that there are certain people who were trying to use that as an opportunity to make me look stupid, some young ladies saw it as a right to get things out of my business place without payment for the commodity which is not healthy for the business at all, they misunderstood my extreme calm nature for stupidity because it is believed that I wouldn’t talk when I realize there is a missing item.

After a thorough thought about it, I knew that I had to make the decision between holing up the virtues in my business or letting go of these people who were extremely parasitic in nature, I gathered up courage and I drew the line for them making them realize that I was not going to joke with my business on any grounds and business must always be handled as such at all times, it was a tough decision but I know that boundaries needs to be set if growth is going to occur. These things are very funny because the more you handle your business with levity, the more your business lost focus and growth becomes retarded in the process, the same people with whom you lowered the standard of your business will be the ones to mock you in your absence.

Every growing enterprise must be governed by very smart principles and these principles needs to be adequately followed consistently or the business will not grow spontaneously. You will agree with me that in our local locations, some businesses have been existing for years and they have not grown beyond the point where we have known them to be, the main reason behind this is because they do not have a strong principle that backs up the establishment and of course they had to choose between closing down completely or having retarded growth, those of us who are enlightened and have a better reach to information, must be able to handle our business in a different dimension and get a better result from the business.
