The Darkslide is one of the easiest advanced tricks, second only to the Railey.  Before you attempt this trick you need to be comfortable with looping the kite.

Start by riding in one direction.  Lets say to the left.  Have the kite at about 11 o'clock. 
Load and pop up then flip your board over extending your right foot back.

*Keep kite high in the window and sheet in a little bit to keep you body above water.*

While this board maneuver is happening you will need to keep the kite in the power zone continuously to stay above water.  To do this you will have to loop the kite.  
> Apply steady pressure on your back hand (right) and keep the kite flying across the window and loop it through.  You will have to commit fully to steering the kite through the loop by maintaining right steering the whole time.  One of the most common mistakes is letting up on the steering when half way through which ends with the kite crashing in the water.   Again, the objective is to keep the power in the kite (keeping in it the powerzone) to generate the power to stay above the water. 

Once the kite has completely looped through, keep it on the right side of the window and start heading in the new (right) direction.

*Utilize the top of the board as surface area on the water to stay up on plane*

Extend your right leg, and keep your left knee bent and apply downward pressure with your right foot. 

Extend your whole body using your core muscles to maintain the edge with your board upside down.  Allow your body to follow behind the kite as it loops around and focus on maintaining the board surface pressure on the water surface. When you are heading in the new direction you will need to flip your board over before losing momentum by sheeting in and popping up.
