Forked Roads and Silver Spoons

Here we stand

. . . at our moral crossroads of mortality. Some will decide this way; some will go divide that; so as to leave individuality with piece of cake in hand, yet either no mouth to devour or no eyes to see the final hour’s sand. Night creeps with those operating beneath truth; in denial of good to come – through ancient twisted tales. Some say there’s plenty of room in heaven; I say light legitimizes truth, hope guides strength & that none may deny the work done in fateful moments. These works done, will justify the means. Do not presume the facts – for truth connects polarities in which secrets operate. There ought to be one chronological reality, that of gravity; as if there is truth to monotheism; or the old phrase: What goes up – must come down.

And all the planets, in their turn, Confirm the tidings as they roll, And spread truth from pole to pole.

What man holds true to form of nature is necessarily equal; though not in intelligence. Intelligence is built with facts, not faith; so it is that Plato knew of ‘God‘ as ‘The Eternal Geometer’. Faith resides in the unknown consequences of our actions, for courage or to help heal one another – not in hoping or praying for another’s loss or death. Thomas Paine says it best in this way: “It is only by exercise of reason, that man can discover God.” He has immense conscious organization in his Age of Reason: “Moral justice cannot take the innocent for the guilty even if the innocent would offer itself. To suppose justice to do this, is to destroy the principle of its existence, which is the thing itself.”What I am speaking of is as delicate as a golden thread; or a fine razor’s edge on a child’s cheek – it is courser than any subject matter, and denser than any opacity. It is the freedom of a system that is composed of counterparts; that are only free within it – if and when maneuvers are made by the dominate part first. It is the parts in parcel of a federation of global domination, connecting the polarities of war and peace through the negotiating papers used as incentive and control contract. Thomas Paine continues:
“It is then no longer justice. It is indiscriminate revenge.”
The buzz word of the decade seems to be ‘justice’ – is it just a theory between (or balancing) opposing perceptions? Facts connecting theory act as hypothetical belief to assert claim over chaos. Excitement of discovery legitimizes claims through spirit – hope in this life. Lies uncovered are not discovery – but the recovery of sound mind. Here, I have faith for the potential of truth, but not justice. To have faith in justice these days is to believe redemption by means of proxy & vengeance.

Collegium Compos Mentis – Society Sound of Mind

            To arrive at sound reason:

It requires analysis of point A through point B;

what lies in between points is a series of subconscious concepts which are innately or passively organized into a range of “compartments”.

These compartments are actively expanded or reduced through the synthesis of understanding;

allowing distribution of products from individual experience.

These products are thoughts, intuition, sensibility, and the object-subject duality;

honing our capability for long-term planning, organization & decision-making.

I believe it possible to have faith in justice when humanity is capable – in the words of Kant –
“of bringing the critical judgment of the beautiful under rational principles, and to raise its rules to the rank of a science. For such rules or criteria are, according to their principle sources, empirical only, and can never serve as definite a priori rules for our judgment in matters of taste; on the contrary, our judgment is the real test of truth of such rules.”
A Social Darwinist may pervert these implications as the very warrant of eugenics; this is a revisionist prejudice at its political extreme. Such a turn of events, as Immanuel Kant described, would be a modern enlightenment of American culture. So what is enlightenment anyway?
“Enlightenment is man’s release from his self-incurred tutelage. Tutelage is man’s inability to make use of his understanding without direction from another.”

What is oppression?

I wish not to play the victim of such a convoluted mix of tactics. However, I would like to define oppression as the overwhelming burden or pressure of operations that are beyond one’s control or foresight. To this extent, humanity’s common enemy is the immense force of nature that destroys our good intentions that are directed to our self-propagation as a whole. This may only be said in terms of the ecological continuum; but not for economic opportunity of one’s control and foresight. Unavoidable “Acts of God” and industrial accidents that affect a nation’s or an individual’s economic capability are forgivable in a social context – the corporate context. Corporate communities were to operate as secular, sacrificing the private for the public good. For an example, I commend the earliest attempts by the Palestinians after the turn of the 20th century; perhaps when business was simpler. They were round in shape, with a public commons in the center – expanding outward with businesses, shops, & services; extending in to neighborhoods & farmland.How is it then, that who is elected by a community, might so blatantly ignore the representation of their woes that are now caused by corporations (in the general context of macroeconomics)?
“Laziness and cowardice are the reasons . . . why it is so easy for others to set themselves up as their guardians."
(Kant: pg.1 – What is Enlightenment? 1784)
https://bgommartin.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/garden-city-by-ebenezer-howard.jpg?w=1360
It is Epicurean and without the principles of virtue the corporate communities originally were founded upon. If corruption in politics continues, our current fragile Oligarchy will become a Plutocracy; and as Plutarch roughly put it (to the best of my recollection) “I would prefer others say there is no Plutarch, than to admit Plutarch an unsocial man.” I claim that this Plutocratic paradigm is – what in the conspiracy theorists’ handbook is aptly named – “The System”; and also why Independent Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, called for a “Political Revolution” and to make progressive changes in the ideas of social economics and banking reform. It might also be, in terms of antithesis, why some think it is clever to replace Andrew Jackson with Harriet Tubman on the 20 dollar bill. Jackson after all, had national debt down to its lowest in American History and his presidency is titled “The Reign of the People’s President” in the New American Encyclopedia, issued 1979.
