Super Moon, a Blue Moon and a Blood Moon, all at 31 January 2018.

The three moonshots above are my own taken last night (29 January) whenever a blanket of clouds allowed me a wee bit of space to take the shots! It was a cloudy and tumultuous night after an earlier afternoon rainstorm and I had to grab what I could get!

But this post is also to tell you about tomorrow night's moon!
The first time in 150 years that we will see one moon being a combination of a Super Moon, a Blue Blood Moon and a Blood Moon during the same period!

Wow! Look what we can look forward to tomorrow night!

But on seeing this, I decided to look a bit deeper into the matter and went to the NASA site!
Sure enough, there it was and an extra feature was mentioned.
The same moon tomorrow night (31 January 2018) will also display a Lunar Eclipse!

And so, unfortunately we will not see the lunar eclipse in South Africa, but I am sure some exciting colors will be revealed by the moon and I hope that the clouds will be lenient towards my camera.
I also hope many of you will be out there with your cameras snapping away at the moon during this rare period!
