He posted well documented and irrefutable evidence that a Rolex Daytona ref. 6239 sold at Phillips’ first Hong Kong sale in December 2015 had a modified dial, one that had “Cosmograph” erased so as to make it a more valuable – a lot more valuable – “Solo” dial.
