Today, even though it's a holiday, I prefer to stay at home. For me, home has always been a comfortable place. When I am at home, my mind and body are completely relaxed. I don't want to think about anything outside of the house now unless it's something I have to think about or do.
Apart from relaxation, I photographed some flowers in my yard planted by my wife.
This flower, which has the scientific name **Catharanthus roseus (L.) Don,** is called 'Bunga Tapak Dara' in my country, Indonesia.
As far as I know, this flower is not a spoiled flower that needs special care in order to survive. This flower can live anywhere either in the highlands or lowlands despite the lack of sunlight. Basically, this flower likes direct sunlight and lives in the open.
Besides the beauty of this flower, there are other extraordinary things related to health. Some say, decoction of leaves from this flower can cure cancer. And, if you, your relatives or friends have cancer, I think you should try it, it might be a savior for this deadly disease.
These are ordinary Marigold flowers. In my place, this flower is called the Golden Flower because of its golden color.
This flower is one of the flowers preferred by butterflies because it has a lot of nectar. When the flowering season, Marigold flowers emit brightness and excitement because visited by butterflies that can provide beauty and peace.
Marigold flowers are not only orange, but there are also other colors such as yellow, reddish orange, to white. If you like this flower, you can plant it through seeds. The seeds can be found at the center of flower petals and are long like sticks. These fallen seeds will grow into new Marigold flower seeds.
You don't need to worry if you don't have a large yard. Marigolds can grow well in containers such as pots or polybags.
