Kettle Chips - Crispy Bacon and Maple Syrup

Good Afternoon,


**I got sucked into watching The Batchelor on TV and I really wanted something to eat whilst I was watching all the drama kick off. I mean 18 women or so, sharing one apartment, going after one man?? You are asking for trouble. I loved it! So it was right that I had something to munch on whilst everything started to unfold.**

Mr regular followers will know how much I like the combination of salt and sweet. So when I saw these in the supermarket, I knew I had to try them. I have had sweet and salty popcorn before and I wanted to see how these would fair up. One thing I like about **Kettle Chips** is the way they are hand cooked. I find this gives a much better flavour than normal crisps. It kind of reminds me of the flavour you get from a fish and chip shop. The bag of chips with all the little crispy dregs at the bottom. These crisps have a really strong bacon smell. I can’t smell the maple syrup, but I can taste the sweetness. The crisps are really crunchy and I love the taste of the bacon with the sweet. Now I’m getting further into the pack. I really get the maple syrup flavour. Before all I tasted was something sweet and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I can definitely taste the maple syrup with the bacon. It’s really nice and a great snack. So much so I pretty much demolish the whole pack watching the programme. *Ooops!*
