# Problem

Problems will always arise in various projects being developed, even on the decentralized web. Whether truly decentralized or not, there are always loopholes for criminals to act and take advantage of. In Steemit for example, who can guarantee that third-party service providers are really very safe to use?

Usually third-party services are used to improve their performance on the Steemit platform. Third party services are used to support user activities such as delegation, curation trail, and . fanbase. To get access to these services, we even have to risk the Active Key to connect to the system we want.

Connections to Steem logins that require confirmation with Active Key on third-party services do not fully guarantee security. 'gandurasik001' has stolen 109 SBD and 6 STEEM from the 'steem.amal' account just minutes after the account was created. This really confused me and shocked me as to what was happening. Someone has played with this action and we need to be aware of it to protect the funds.

# Target Theft and Community Account Manager Error

Actions like this seem to target accounts that have a large amount of SBD/STEEM rewards. So, accounts that store rewards independently in the STEEM or SBD feature in the Steemit wallet are very vulnerable to being stolen. Usually a community account or account for SBD/STEEM fund charities freely in Steemit Wallet and freezes it.

This is a mistake that all community managers are unaware of. It's best not to store too much in the Steemit Wallet freely. Funds that are freely available in the Steemit Wallet can be transferred easily to other users or to other parties by using Active Key access.

1.Please login to your Steemit Wallet and select which funds you will "SAVING", SBD or STEEEM.

2.For example, you will "SAVING" STEEM in a certain amount, please click on the amount of STEEM and click the "Transfer To Saving" feature.

4.Click Ok and your funds will be entered into the "SAVING" feature.

5.To withdraw funds that have been frozen in "SAVING", you have to click for disbursement and it will take about 3 days to return your funds.

There is no one who can really be trusted to guarantee the funds we have in Steemit Wallet. There are always loopholes to steal the funds we have in Steemit Wallet. So, don't leave STEEM/SBD freely in your Steemit Wallet in large enough quantities.
