According to reports, Real Madrid are preparing to make a move for tottenham's attacking midfieder, Christian Eriksen. The player whose contract with his current team will be ending sometime in January after which he would be allowed to leave the club on free transfer.

He was reported to have rejected a contract renewal deal with spurs with hopes of leaving them and trying out new challenges at other clubs. Since then Real Madrid amongst other clubs in europe have shown interest in the player with Real spear-heading the race of getting things done concerning his transfer.

Rumours also have it that tottenham are not willing to wait until January to part with the player since it would be a free transfer and it would be profitless for them. They would welcome any offer for the player at this point in time and Real madrid could make the move pretty soon too.
