Today's series topic will be **ABIDING ABD ABOUNDING IN FRUITFULNESS**.

>Before I will go into the message, let me brief little in God's plan for us. John 15: 1-8, Genesis  1:28.

The plan and purpose of the Lord from the beginning is that we should  cleave to him, to be able us grow, to start bearing fruit and abound in fruit bearing all the days of our life, irrespective of situation, challenges or environment that we might find our selves as a believers,
the redemption work of God in Christ Jesus for believers in not this rising and falling, successful an failure, Fruitful and unfruitful life but a continuous consistent life of flourishing, blossoming and fruitfulness, Psalm 72:7 and Isaiah 27:6.
In the hands of God who is able to keep us from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. My prayer is that you will rise from this from this message to abide and abound in fruitfulness all the days of your life in Jesus name. Amen. 

**U N D E R S T A N D I N D A B I DON'T I N G A B O U N D I N G IN F RU I THINK F U L N E S S** Psalm 92:12-14, Psalm 52:8 Genesis 25: 1-2.

What is abiding? Abiding means to dwell, remain, last, bear and endure while abounding is to exist is large amounts, be fully, blessing others with your life.
In summary, it means to become one that keep bearing fruit and increasing in fruitfulness yielding irrespective of all odd of life as we could see the case of Abraham being fruitful at his old age, it is continuous consistent Fruithfulness all the days of his life in every area of life as a result of stability, maturity and increasing in ability. 

1. **PRINCIPLE OF ABIDING AND ABOUNDING IN FRUITFULNESS**
In every area of human's life, GOD works with definite and accurate principles, for marriage, it's a man to leave his parents and shall cleave his wife and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24.
So,  also the principle of abiding and abounding in fruitfulness is made clear to us by Jesus Christ in John 15:1-8, it's a principle of Abiding in Jesus, persistence permanent dwelling in Jesus (The Vine) for CLEANING, NURTURING and MATURING by His word, grace and blessings just as a branch is nurtured by the vine to bear fruit of it's own kind.

Things that abide in Jesus;
- This abiding in His word. John 15:7,
- Abiding in His life. 1 John 2:6,
- Abiding in His ways. Isaiah 55:7,
- Abiding in His love. John 15:10.
- Abiding in His presence. Psalm
  91:1 and 
- Abide in Him. John 15:4. All these are process of discipleship that yields to continuous increase in fruitfulness.



2 . **NECESSITIES of ABIDING AND ABOUNDING FRUITHFULNESS**. John 15:1-8, Ephesians 3:16-20.

The necessity of abiding and abounding Fruithfulness is unavoidable and unadjustable, it is the key that matters in the matter, and we shall use the illustration of the vine and branch. 

- Born by the vine. John 3:1-5.
- Extension of the vine. John 15:2.
- Source strength and feeding from the vine. Psalm 1:1-3.
- Depend on the vine for life and vitality. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18.
- Each resembles the vine in appearance. Act 11:26
- It carries the leaves and fruit of the vine. 1John 2:6.
- It spread the presence and fragrance of the vine. 2 Corinthians 5:20.

3. **BENEFITS OF ABIDING AND ABOUNDING FRUITHFULNESS**. 2 Corinthians 9:8, Psalm 1:1-3.

√ Vibrant, fresh and flourishing. 
√ Strong, stable and spreading. 
√ More rewarding and attractive. 
√ Continuous impact and relevance.
√ Fulfill the purpose of living.
√ Successful and glorified. 
√ Healthy, growing and long life.

**Conclusion**:

Every believer must labour to enter into this phase of life that God purchase and purpose for us by the riches of His grace through our Lord and Saviour  Jesus Christ as anything less is a waste and misuse of His grace,  you and I must deny sin, self and Satan and receive of His fullness grace unto gracevto keep you abiding and abounding in fruitfulness.
