## INTRODUCTION

past month, our community has enjoyed having access to @steemcurator06 with it's 200k Steem Power. Managing this account and being able to reward users from within our PH community has allowed our entire team to move forward. 

Unfortunatelly, it seem that the old saying is true: `all good things must come to an end`. I'm sure most of us know this saying, right? 

Our journey and collaboration with STINC seems to be also coming to an end. It seems that our project wasn't selected to receive support within the upcoming month of June. 

## INITIAL THOUGHTS

Initially, it made me feel somewhat disappointed. I presume many of us assumed the goal behind the steemitblog initiative was to support growing communities long term, instead of just providing a short-term boost. We've planned our growth and assumed wrongly that our efforts will be acknowledged and we will continue to enjoy being part of the Community Curators Program. 

Well, we were wrong.

So, this is most likely our last weekly report (final one) and starting from the 1st of June (tomorrow) this initiative is coming to an end. It's saddening, simply because I don't think our results achieved within just a month can be sustained long term. 

So it's hard not to wonder if it was worth it. Some window of opportunity to collaborate with STINC just got shut in front of us and left many of us speachless. I think we all expected at least to get some feedback in return. We didn't get any. 

## STEEM-ONLY group on our community discord

This channel will be closed, since it will no longer make any sense to continue posting exclusively on Steem blockchain since there will be no more incentives to do so. 

For that reason, tomorrow this group will be removed from our discord and things will fully go back to normal. Just the way it was before we started being part of this initiative. And it is important for all of you, dear community members, to be aware that this initiative will be no longer be running. You cannot expect being rewarded by posting steem-exclusive content any more within PH.

## MOVING FORWARD; ANTI-PLAGIARISM department

This short-lived collaboration with STINC allowed us to gain more experience, attracted new users to our community and forced us to re-organize ourselfs. We've also established our [own internal anti-plagiarism department](https://steemit.com/hive-175254/@project.hope/project-hope-internal-anti-plagiarism-department). 

We've also realized, that relying on support from one large and uncertain stakeholder is simply very risky and can easily backfire. For that reason our core team will increase efforts in June related to promoting our delegation passive income program and encourage smaller and medium sized accounts to either delegate to PH, or join our curation trail.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank @juanmolina and @gbenga for investing their own time and energy. And for all work they did while being part of this initiative in month of May. You guys ROCK!


## FINAL WORD

Project.hope will continue supporting it's community members with its current limited resources. Just the way we did so far. Hopefully steemauto will be re-created in June and also optimistically we will manage to secure some new delegations, which would allow our team to grow futher.

We will `continue being neutral` towards the current conflict between HIVE and STEEM and we will continue to support active and engaging authors on both chains.
